Inspired by Nature

Course Description: Draw and paint nature’s beautiful flora and fauna from personal photographs in vitreous enamel! We will draw/paint natural subjects (e. g. plants, flowers, bugs) using graphite and underglaze pencils, overglaze china paints, and watercolor enamels. Students will practice rendering, drawing, mixing colors, making marks, and adding details on enameled copper shapes and steel plates. No drawing and painting skills required. All levels welcome, but basic enameling skills, such as sifting and firing, are helpful.
